Nancy is a multi-award winning civil society leader and human rights campaigner. She joined DIVA in 2023, and in 2024 took on the role of Executive Director, leading the groundbreaking media organisation through the process of becoming a charity.
Prior to this, Nancy was CEO of Stonewall and held a number of senior roles in national charities, campaigning for a more just and equitable society. She is a Director of Trans Solidarity Alliance and a Trustee of the Bishopsgate Institute. Nancy is passionate about building a world where we are all able to live free and equal.
Community Leader and Advocate
Jake and his partner Hannah were named the UK’s most influential LGBTQ couple in 2018’s Independent Pride Power List and have become something of an inspiration to the international trans community, seizing every opportunity to increase acceptance and understanding of the transgender experience.
In April 2020, they welcomed their first child Millie into the world, and couldn’t be happier. They have become role models to many within the trans and LGB communities, instilling hope that the dream of family life is open to all.

Senior Fertility Nurse
Hannah has been a key member of the team at London Women’s Clinic for 4 years, where she’s often found scanning, performing IUIs, assisting in theatres, and managing patient care journeys.
With 10 years of nursing experience both internationally and domestically, she’s always stayed close to women’s services. She’s a driving force behind positive changes at LWC, particularly advocating for inclusive care for the
LGBTQIA+ community.
Fertility Advocate
Hayley King is an advocate and educator for donor-conceived families and the Head of Operations at Paths to Parenthub, an online support platform for parents building their families through donor conception.
As a donor-conceived adult and mum of twins in an LGBTQ+ family, she brings a unique and balanced perspective to the complexities of donor conception. Through her work, Hayley provides information, resources, and a supportive community for all those navigating this journey.
DIVA trustee, media leader, and proud LGBTQIA+ parent
Kit Morey (they/them) is Vice President and Commissioning Editor for Unscripted at Channel 5 and Paramount+. They’ve worked on series such as First Dates, One Born Every Minute, The Real Full Monty along with wonderful four-legged content such as Dogs Behaving Very Badly, Lost Dogs with Clare Balding and Puppy School for Guide Dogs. Along with Commissioning Kit is also the Executive Champion for PROUD ERG at Paramount.
They hold an MA in Film Theory and a BA in Communication and Media Studies and are known for championing authentic LGBTQIA+ representation in television.
Based in Brighton, Kit also serves as a trustee of the DIVA Charitable Trust, supporting equality and inclusion for LGBTQIA+ communities across the UK.
Kit became a parent at 38, choosing to start a family solo after life took unexpected turns. Years earlier, they began the process with a partner, but plans were paused due to family illness and a breakup. Later, they returned to London Women’s Clinic — and found the original donor still available at the London Sperm Bank. Kit conceived on the second round of treatment, showing that solo parenting can be just as full of joy and purpose…even if their now 15-year-old son still won’t tidy his bedroom…
Professor in Law
Professor Kirsty Horsey’s long-term research interest focuses on the laws regulating surrogacy. She has worked with external non-profit and charitable organisations to facilitate and encourage reform. Professor Horsey’s research interests lie primarily in the regulation of surrogacy, other forms of assisted human reproduction and genetic technologies. She is particularly interested in where these areas overlap and intersect with issues in family law, especially the concept of legal parenthood.
She is currently a faculty member of the newly established Department of Law at Loughborough University, have previously been at the University of Kent from 1988 to this year.

Dr Manukian is a consultant at London Women’s Clinic Harley Street, and is widely recognised for her commitment and passion for supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals in their family-making journeys. She has a Master’s degree from LSE, with a research focus on egg freezing in the LGBTQIA+ community.
Director of Clinical Services for Bromley and Canterbury
Diane is the Director of Clinical Services for Bromley and Canterbury, encompassing Kind iVF and London Women’s Clinic. She has over three decades of nursing and midwifery experience, and, with a longstanding passion for increasing access to affordable treatment, was instrumental in the development of Kind iVF.
Head of LWC Elective Egg Freezing
Egle is Head of the London Women’s Clinic Elective Egg Freezing Programme, the only dedicated egg freezing clinical unit in the UK. She has a strong interest in reproductive rights, equality, and the fascinating world of science, and prioritises exceptional care, informed decision-making, and expert-led, personalised treatment.
Lab Manager and Quality Lead
Elena is the Head of Embryology at London Women’s Clinic, with 18 years of experience in reproductive medicine. She is the author of the UK’s biggest-ever study on IUI, a Diplomate of the Royal College of Pathologists, and a member of ARCS and ESHRE.
Research Fellow
With a PhD in Psychology from UCL, and an MPhil in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, during which she conducted research into bisexual mother families, Dr Ellen Davenport-Pleasance is committed to researching LGBTQ+ parenthood and reproduction. In her role as a research fellow at London Women’s Clinic, she is conducting novel research into transgender and non-binary patients’ experiences of fertility treatment, alongside academics at the University of Sussex and City St Georges, University of London, with the aim of making reproductive healthcare more LGBTQ inclusive.
LWC Senior Fertility Counsellor and Support Lead
Jamie Forster is an experienced integrative therapist who specialises in fertility, trauma, and family therapy. She has a friendly and down to earth therapeutic approach and is passionate about supporting people through fertility treatment or donation and advocates nationwide for strong emotional support during treatment.
LWC Data and Insights Analyst
Jemma is the Data and Insights Analyst at Kind iVF and London Women’s Clinic. She has a Master’s degree in clinical embryology from the University of Oxford, and is a candidate for a PhD at the University of Kent. She is a key voice in the field of optimising live birth rates in fertility treatment, and analyses large clinical datasets to improve IVF protocols and clinical care.
Director of Nursing at LWC
Mimi is London Women’s Clinic’s Director of Nursing. Trained at Guy’s Hospital, and with over 20 years at the clinic, she spearheaded the London Women’s Clinic surrogacy programme, and is qualified as an operating theatre and fertility nurse specialist.
Professor Nick Macklon has been Group Medical Director for London Women’s Clinic, London Sperm Bank and London Egg Bank since 2017.
Professor Macklon is an internationally recognised gynaecologist and leader in reproductive medicine, and has held Professorship and Departmental Head positions at the Universities of Utrecht in the Netherlands, Southampton, UK and Copenhagen in Denmark, as well as a visiting Professorship in Adelaide, Australia. He has published many scientific papers and books and is regularly invited to lecture in the UK and abroad. Professor Macklon is Co-Chief Editor of one of the leading scientific journals in reproductive medicine, Reproductive Biomedicine Online. In addition to his commitment to providing exceptional patient care, he has a deep passion for classical music.

After many years at the helm of London Sperm Bank, Nicole is now Director of Operations (London Women’s Clinic South). She is committed to providing high-quality donors and adhering to strict regulatory standards, and is passionate about enhancing donor services on the South Coast.

Dr Jain is a highly experienced Consultant at London Egg Bank, she specialises in treating patients requiring Donor gametes and Surrogacy. She has over 12 years’ experience in reproductive medicine and believes parenting should be an option for everyone. She strongly supports LGBTQIA+ individuals in fulfilling their desire to grow their families.

Rachel is the founder of Nappy Endings surrogacy support agency. Rachel has been a surrogate since 2011, both traditional and gestational, so has a full understanding of both journeys. She appeared on This Morning telling her story and through her journey has a wealth of knowledge in the surrogacy field.
Visiting Fertility Specialist
Vanessa Ross graduated from the Australian National University in 2008 and completed specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne. A visiting fertility specialist, she is a board-certified subspecialist in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI) and has completed a Masters degree in Reproductive Medicine at the University of New South Wales. Her special interests include fertility preservation, reproductive surgery, IVF and complex fertility care.

In June 2024, he released his debut book Dear Cisgender People: A Guide to Trans Allyship and Empathy (DK Life, Penguin). Most recently, he founded LostFame, a masculine period underwear company creating innovative solutions that prioritise comfort, style, and authenticity.
