About us

The Future of Fertility Care

With clinics across the UK, including NHS-funded sites on the south coast and innovations such as Kind iVF, the UK’s most affordable IVF programme — our mission is to widen access to fertility care for those who need it most. That means evidence-based treatment, compassionate expertise, and support tailored to each individual’s journey.

As we celebrate 40 years of creating families, our promise remains simple: whoever you are, and wherever you’re starting from, we’re here to help you build the family you’ve imagined.

Celebrating 40 Years of Creating Families

For over four decades, London Women’s Clinic has been at the forefront of fertility care in the UK, supporting thousands of individuals and couples on their journey to parenthood. From our early role in pioneering IVF to today’s advanced, science-led treatments, our commitment has remained the same: to make fertility care more accessible, more personal, and more inclusive.

Every family begins with a story. For 40 years, we’ve been privileged to be part of so many — from heterosexual couples navigating fertility challenges, to solo parents taking their first steps towards parenthood, to LGBTQIA+ families redefining what’s possible.

Pioneering Inclusive Fertility Care

London Women’s Clinic is proud to be recognised as a leading fertility provider for LGBTQIA+ patients — a commitment that has shaped our approach from the very beginning. We’ve played a key role in making shared motherhood and reciprocal IVF more accessible, while our donor programmes through London Sperm Bank and London Egg Bank have helped open the door to parenthood for countless people.

Through initiatives like The Familymakers Show, alongside expert guidance on donation, fertility treatment, and legal parenthood, we aim to provide care that reflects the many ways families are made today — while connecting you to an ecosystem of support, expertise, and opportunity.

Why London Women's Clinic is now the UK's leading centre for inclusive fertility treatment

Fertility treatment that evolves with you.

For over 40 years, London Women’s Clinic has been at the forefront of fertility care — adapting, advancing, and advocating to help more people access the support they need to build a family.

At this year’s FamilyMakers Show, our feature Raising Tomorrow looks ahead. It explores the future of fertility care: inclusive, accessible, and shaped by both groundbreaking science and a deep understanding of patients’ lived experiences.

Over four decades, fertility care has changed dramatically. Treatments once unimaginable are now part of everyday life for many families. Advances in science, law, and social acceptance have made parenthood possible for more people than ever before, and London Women’s Clinic has been part of that progress at every step.

Our sessions at the show will explore the full range of treatments available today, clearly explaining what to expect at each stage, from first consultation through to treatment and beyond.

We’ve helped pioneer services including egg and sperm donation, egg freezing, and IVF pathways designed for different needs and family structures. Through our affiliated services, London Sperm Bank and London Egg Bank, now the UK’s leading sources of domestically available donor sperm and eggs, we continue to broaden access to fertility treatment.

For same-sex female couples, we played a key role in introducing shared motherhood through reciprocal IVF, where one partner provides the egg and the other carries the pregnancy. Our commitment to access also extends to affordability, through initiatives such as Kind iVF, the UK’s most affordable IVF programme, alongside NHS-funded treatment at our south coast clinics.

Whether you’re just starting to explore your options or ready to begin treatment, our experienced team is here to guide you with personalised, compassionate care.

As our Medical Director, Professor Nick Macklon, says:
“We aim to be the leading fertility clinic for anyone who wants to grow their family — whatever their story.”
