DIVA Executive Director

Nancy is a multi-award winning civil society leader and human rights campaigner. She joined DIVA in 2023, and in 2024 took on the role of Executive Director, leading the groundbreaking media organisation through the process of becoming a charity.

Prior to this, Nancy was CEO of Stonewall and held a number of senior roles in national charities, campaigning for a more just and equitable society. She is a Director of Trans Solidarity Alliance and a Trustee of the Bishopsgate Institute. Nancy is passionate about building a world where we are all able to live free and equal.

LWC Head of Embryology

Elena is the Head of Embryology at London Women’s Clinic and has 18 years’ experience in the field in Reproductive Medicine. She is also a Quality Lead and Lab Manager.

She is an experienced Senior Embryologist, a Diplomate of the Royal College of Pathologists, a member of ARCS and ESHRE and has published significant research papers on Donor Insemination. She works hard to deliver the highest success rates to patients and above all to offer them the best care and quality service.

Community Leader and Advocate

Jake and his partner Hannah were named the UK’s most influential LGBTQ couple in 2018’s Independent Pride Power List and have become something of an inspiration to the international trans community, seizing every opportunity to increase acceptance and understanding of the transgender experience.

In April 2020, they welcomed their first child Millie into the world, and couldn’t be happier. They have become role models to many within the trans and LGB communities, instilling hope that the dream of family life is open to all.

Both highly accomplished and influential in their own fields, Jake and Hannah have received acclaim and widespread coverage from the British LGBT Awards, Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards, Stonewall, Out in Work 100 Awards, Cardiff University, OUT Magazine’s OUT100 List, The Independent’s Rainbow List, The Guardian’s LGBT Power List, Attitude Magazine, DIVA, and a wide range of mainstream TV and media channels, among many others.

Senior Fertility Nurse

Hannah has been a key member of the team at London Women’s Clinic for 4 years, where she’s often found scanning, performing IUIs, assisting in theatres, and managing patient care journeys.

With 10 years of nursing experience both internationally and domestically, she’s always stayed close to women’s services. She’s a driving force behind positive changes at LWC, particularly advocating for inclusive care for the
LGBTQIA+ community.

LWC Group Medical Director

Professor Macklon is a world-renowned expert in reproductive medicine. He has held professorships at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands, the University of Southampton and the University of Copenhagen.

In addition to his commitment to providing exceptional patient care, he has a deep passion for classical music. He serves in an eminent role on the Executive Committee of the European Society of Human Reproduction.

Fertility Advocate

Hayley King is an advocate and educator for donor-conceived families and the Head of Operations at Paths to Parenthub, an online support platform for parents building their families through donor conception.

As a donor-conceived adult and mum of twins in an LGBTQ+ family, she brings a unique and balanced perspective to the complexities of donor conception. Through her work, Hayley provides information, resources, and a supportive community for all those navigating this journey.

Fertility Patient Advocate

Anya is a passionate advocate for fertility, with nearly two decades of experience in the sector. She is also Democracy Lead for the think tank Compassion in Politics and a local councillor for Hoxton East and Shoreditch. As a Board member for the HFEA and former Patient Care Lead at London Women’s Clinic, she has shaped fertility support and training for organisations nationwide.

Anya is a vocal champion for fair IVF access, regularly speaking in Parliament and the media on behalf of those experiencing infertility. She has two children from IVF, one from adoption, and is a champion for both the Saying Goodbye and Home for Good charity.

Director of Operations (LWC South)

With a distinguished career as a registered international healthcare professional Nicole has consistently demonstrated a dedication to excellence.

She is committed to providing high-quality donors and adhering to strict regulatory standards. With a focus on integrity and care, she ensures that both donors and recipients feel safe and supported. She is passionate about enhancing donor services on the South Coast.

LWC Director of Nursing

Mimi has been with LWC since 2005 and is the Director of Nursing and Person Responsible to the HFEA for the LWC Harley Street. Mimi completed her nursing qualifications at Guy’s Hospital and is qualified as an operating theatre and fertility nurse specialist. She is a member of the LWC’s clinical governance team and spearheaded the clinic’s Surrogacy programme.

Consultant in Reproductive Medicine

Priti is a highly skilled clinician with extensive knowledge and over a decade of experience. Sheunderwent Fellowship inAssisted Conception at Edinburgh and has worked in both NHS and Private Assisted Conception
clinics. She has acquired extensive experience in all aspects including ovarian stimulation for IVF/ICSI using own gametes or donor gametes, fertility preservation, egg donation and Pre implantation genetic testing

Professor in Law

Professor Kirsty Horsey’s long-term research interest focuses on the laws regulating surrogacy. She has worked with external non-profit and charitable organisations to facilitate and encourage reform. Professor Horsey’s research interests lie primarily in the regulation of surrogacy, other forms of assisted human reproduction and genetic technologies. She is particularly interested in where these areas overlap and intersect with issues in family law, especially the concept of legal parenthood.

She is currently a faculty member of the newly established Department of Law at Loughborough University, have previously been at the University of Kent from 1988 to this year.

Director of Clinical Services for Bromley and Canterbury

Diane has over three decades of nursing and midwifery experience, and has worked in fertility since 2007. As a fertility nurse specialist Diane proudly runs our Canterbury and Bromley clinics and is the Infection Control Lead for all
LWC clinic sites in the UK. With a longstanding passion for increasing patient access to affordable treatment Diane was instrumental in the development of Kind iVF.

LWC Data and Insights Analyst

With a masters degree in Clinical Embryology at Oxford University and a continuing interest in PhD studies at the University of Kent, Jemma is prolific in the pursuit of optimising the live birth rate in fertility treatment, with particular focus on Pre-implantation Genetic Testing (PGT). Within London Women’s Clinic and Kind iVF, her primary role is analysing large clinical datasets to optimise IVF protocols and improve clinical care.

Founder of Nappy Endings surrogacy support agency

Rachel has been a surrogate since 2011, both traditional and gestational, so has a full understanding of both journeys.

Rachel has endured complications and seen both the highs and lows of any journey so fully understands any eventualities. She offers complete compassion and guidance through her own experience.

Rachel appeared on This Morning telling her story and through her journey has a wealth of knowledge in the surrogacy field. There is rarely a question Rachel can’t answer.

Every journey anyone goes on Rachel fully goes on it with them from the introduction and first appointments through to parental order completion.

Head of LWC Elective Egg Freezing Programme

Egle has over 10 years of experience in the health sector. With a strong interest
in reproductive rights, equality, and the fascinating world of science, Egle recognised the unique nature of egg freezing as a fertility treatment. 

As the lead for the egg freezing service at London Women’s Clinic, she prioritises providing exceptional care, informed decision-making, personalised treatment, and assembling a team of top experts.

DIVA trustee, media leader, and proud LGBTQIA+ parent

Kit Morey (they/them) is Vice President and Commissioning Editor for Unscripted at Channel 5 and Paramount+. They’ve worked on series such as First Dates, One Born Every Minute, The Real Full Monty along with wonderful four-legged content such as Dogs Behaving Very Badly, Lost Dogs with Clare Balding and Puppy School for Guide Dogs. Along with Commissioning Kit is also the Executive Champion for PROUD ERG at Paramount.

They hold an MA in Film Theory and a BA in Communication and Media Studies and are known for championing authentic LGBTQIA+ representation in television.

Based in Brighton, Kit also serves as a trustee of the DIVA Charitable Trust, supporting equality and inclusion for LGBTQIA+ communities across the UK.

Kit became a parent at 38, choosing to start a family solo after life took unexpected turns. Years earlier, they began the process with a partner, but plans were paused due to family illness and a breakup. Later, they returned to London Women’s Clinic — and found the original donor still available at the London Sperm Bank. Kit conceived on the second round of treatment, showing that solo parenting can be just as full of joy and purpose…even if their now 15-year-old son still won’t tidy his bedroom…

Consultant in Reproductive Medicine

A dedicated Reproductive Medicine consultant at London Women’s Clinic, Barbara is deeply committed to supporting LGBTQ+ individuals in their quest to grow their families. Her academic pursuits are closely aligned with
her professional interests.

She as a master’s degree in Healthcare Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE), with a research focus on egg freezing in the queer community. Her research underscores her clinical commitment to understanding and addressing the unique needs of the LGBTQ+ community.
